How Massachusetts courses work: Massachusetts state regulations require that Part II of your pre-licensing course includes live instructor interaction. The first 19 hours (Part I) are fully self-paced — study whenever and wherever works for you. Part II unlocks during scheduled instructor session windows — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings (8–11am ET) and evenings (6–9pm ET) — giving you real-time access to a state-approved expert via Zoom while you learn.

What is Pass or Don’t Pay Guarantee?

If a student does not pass the Massachusetts real estate license exam within 30 days of completing the exam prep course, we’ll reimburse the original cost of either your pre-licensing package or the exclusive exam prep you purchased.* For reimbursement, email us at [email protected] with a copy of your exam results, including the date of the exams, within 30 days of the failed exam attempt.  

*Specific state laws or regulations prohibit some students from qualifying. For example, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, and New Jersey do not permit guarantees to passing the real estate licensing exam. 

Can I take both online and livestream?

Each class must be completed in the format it was started to receive credit.

How does the Massachusetts pre-licensing course work?

The 40-hour Massachusetts pre-licensing course is divided into two parts. Part I (19 hours) is fully self-paced — complete it anytime, at your own speed. Part II (21 hours) requires Part I to be completed first, and is only accessible during scheduled instructor session windows, as required by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. During these windows, a state-approved instructor is available via Zoom to answer your questions in real time while you work through the course content.

Why is Part II of my course locked?

Massachusetts state regulations require that at least 21 hours of your pre-licensing course include live, realtime interaction with a state-approved instructor. To meet this requirement, Part II of your course is only accessible during scheduled instructor session windows. Once a session opens, you’ll be able to launch the course and connect with your instructor directly via Zoom. Check your course dashboard for the full session schedule.

When can I access Part II of my course?

Part II is available during the following instructor session windows each week:
– Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday — 8:00–11:00am ET
– Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday — 6:00–9:00pm ET
That’s six windows per week to fit around your schedule. Your progress is saved between sessions so you can
pick up right where you left off.

Do I have to be on camera or attend a lecture during Part II?

No. You work through the course content at your own pace during the session window. Your instructor is available via Zoom live chat throughout the session to answer your questions in real time. You are not required to attend a lecture or turn on your camera — you simply need to be in the course during an open session window with your instructor available.
